An urban liberal arts college that also has an art museum that is free and open to the public. Parking on the street can be a challenge but there is a multi-level parking garage on the campus. One of the schools graduates was Fred Rogers who went on to establish the PBS series, Mister Rogers Neighborhood.

This is probably the number one Ivy League University in the Southeast. If you haven't heard of it its probably because you weren't looking for schools with annual tuition of $50,000 when your kids were looking at college. Much of the campus was designed by Florida's most famous architect and is a beautiful Spanish-American style. The rowing team regularly wins top honors and there is a public art gallery well worth a visit if you are in the Orlando area. This is a first class school with top facilities and great architecture and art. Take a break from the Attractions area, drive a half hour north and enjoy Rollins College

Da wife and I wandered over to look at Rollins while we were staying at the Alfond Inn (interesting thing....the profits from the Alfond go to scholarships for Rollins students). It’s only a one block walk. I believe it was voted the most beautiful campus in the country in 2016. The architecture, grounds and lake all work together to earn that distinction. There is also a fine arts museum on the grounds, but it not open on Mondays.

Rollins is not a cheap date but the kids we met all seemed happy as could be there.

It is definitely worth a couple hours stroll to look around.

Beautiful college campus, sort of a Spanish mission style. It has an old world feel to it. The chapel is lovely and peaceful. There is also s short boat trip that you can do that leaves from a lake near the campus. This gives you a nice view from the water. There is a fee for the boat ride, but it is nominal

Judging by the one sided art exhibits I don’t know why, specially white parents will send their children here to hate themselves and their ancestors. No exhibits about the greatness of America. The most successful country in the world thanks to capitalist ideas and reliance of self. I pity all minorities that allow themselves to be victimized. Teaching hate is not the purpose of an art museum with one sided pity party art.

We walked up and down Park Avenue, and ended up at Rollins College main entrance. It is truly beautiful, as the architectural design of the buildings really gives this campus the charisma it deserves.
