Went here thinking it was more of a botanical garden, but there weren't as many trails as I thought there would be. Honestly a bit disappointing, but a great place for families & picnicking. As someone from out of town, I was just expecting a...More

The city of Winter Park is one of the nicer cities in Central Florida, so it is surprising to see a park like Mead Garden not reach its potential. The park is free to visit, and there are plenty of walking trails, but this park...More

This spot seems out of sync with the rest of Winter Park, which seems so immaculate with its manicured gardens. We wanted a little exercise off the beaten track, and it fit the bill. Quiet spot, with lots of potential.

It’s a little tough to find this park with GPS if you are not a local, but it’s worth the effort. We good the day in Winter Garden after a few busy conference days in Orlando and it was perfect to restore some balance. There...More

We enjoyed our slow-paced tour through the gardens. Stopped along the way and sat under a pavilion and just enjoyed talking with each other and watching the birds that were in the creek. Spotted raccoon prints along the boardwalk. It would be great if they...More

The first trip to Mead Gardens was with a class of children, it was exciting and full of life. The second trip however, was for a wedding. I don't know if it was the time of year or what. There were little to no blooms....More
