Faros itself is a lovely little bay with 3 nice beaches. There are some basic facilities for shopping and some tavernas where you can eat some traditional Greek food. I found that the beachside tavernas were great if you have small children

Really nice place with multiple beaches (3). Smooth golden sand, clear waters. There is a problem finding shade though and you must be prepared for there are only a few trees for all. Connected with bus, it has some restaurants and it is connected also...More
