The drive up was nice. The people and docents were super nice and helpful. And the scenery was nice. The variety of harassing bugs was annoying. Bees at the lower level while we picnicked. And then some odd bugs above once you take the shuttle....More

My husband and I were really looking forward to visiting the bald. Don’t get me wrong, the view was beautiful and well worth the visit! Unfortunately we went on Friday and were met with 200 high schoolers on a field trip. It of course was...More

Our grandsons loved it all, at ages 7 & 9. The scavenger hunt in the museum was great fun and they enjoyed it. The little movie is very informative. The views are incredible and the walk down is doable. Glad we took the shuttle up!...More

Went there with my daughter while on a girls mini-vacation. The views were breathtaking! Be sure to bring a light jacket, as it was a little breezy and cool. Can't wait to go back and show my husband.

A crazy, windy ride to the parking area. Be ready, reminiscent of Tail of the Dragon in TN/NC, only shorter. The narrated shuttle ride takes you to the top, the short video is informative and worth your time. Take in the view, it is unreal....More

We hiked Jack Rabbit up to Brasstown, fabulous views. Great picnic spot at the parking level. Definitely worth your time to walk the extra bit to the tippy tippy top and get the full panorama. You can drive to the parking area as well, also...More

I know of no campsites on Brasstown Bald. Unicoi Park is in Helen, Vogel is nearby as well as some private campgrounds. Airstream Trailers have a big park specifically for Airstream's on the hwy from Helen.

I am sorry for the delay in responding to your question. Yes you can take strollers and children in the shuttle the cost is about $5.00 but I don't remember quite well, because we hiked the mountain!
