We enjoyed our stop at the mounds. The signs around the property are informative. It was impressive how big the large mound was. Enjoyed walking to the top of the big mound and walking down by the river.

Located in Cartersville, this is an interesting and well maintained museum and historic site. Lots of great information about the southeastern Native Americans. Perfect for a break from the car for a family traveling along 75.

After a day out my 10 year old granddaughter was curious about the Indian mounds. A beautiful drive not very far. There was a $6 fee, but she didn't want to go in.
