The tour takes you into every room of the home, including the basement. Truly beautiful and historic. One of the few historical homes left on the island that is well preserved, protected, and cared for.

Step back into the time of the Carnegie fortunes. The furniture is amazing. The set up of the house is reminiscent of Builtmore.

See my review regarding the Lands and Legacies Tour and Mike (our tour guide). A visit to the Plum Orchard Mansion on the Northern End of the Island was included as a part of the tour.

You need to sign up for the tour if you want to see the inside of the house but the grounds are perfect for a picnic
