Visited here on a girls' trip - pulling up, it didn't look too promising. You drive down a long dirt road which ends at a very tiny wooden shack. However, stepping inside, it was very welcoming. The wine attendant, Chelsea, was so sweet and helpful....More

I'm actually surprised by the amount of five star reviews on this place. Yes, the staff was phenomenally nice and the dogs were cute, but that doesn't make up for the rest. The tasting facility was a small, unimpressive building that smelled like vomit when...More

My review is actually more about the Cabin on the property instead of the tasting room itself. Everyone should take the opportunity to stay in this renovated log cabin! What a treat! We enjoyed staying on the property and being steps from the tasting room....More

Service and atmosphere were great. Sitting on the porch after work was great. The owner has made her vineyard feel warm and welcoming. Any place that has dogs on the front porch and chickens wandering and pecking in between the vines gets my vote. The...More

Cavendar Creek Vi eyards offer a great atmosphere in a homey setting. The wine is excellent, live music on Saturdays and Sundays. Be on the lookout for Blue Canoe, a local music group that performs at Cavendar Creek. Cabins available also.

This was my first time visiting wineries, and we went to 3 in the Dahlonega area. Cavender was our group's favorite by far. It was laid back and casual, and the people were so nice and helpful. There were several dogs, chickens, and goats on...More

Super sweet young women helped us during the tasting. The place itself is beautiful. The kids played with their dogs while we tasted! They also had an area outside with games. Kids did not want to leave. That was a first at a winery lol....More

We loved the wine and the various nearby animals. Cavender Creek is not a trendy place to be seen. It is rural and simple and very enjoyable.
