My family loved our time at Amicalola Falls. The falls are amazing, the hike breathtaking, and it's worth the extra effort to see the start of the Appalachian Trail.

My daughter was visiting last month so we took her to Amicalola Falls. We did the walk around the base of the falls. The hike is easy and takes about 40 minutes. There was plenty of water, due to all the rain and the falls...More

The waterfall was really beautiful and water running hard. The walk was smooth with lots of stairs. But you can drive it if needed.

Decided to stop and take a quick hike to stretch our legs while on family vacation. Such a great choice! We loved the trail to the waterfall. It was a nice rubber trail, easy for everyone to walk along. Beautiful views and very helpful staff!

An excellent hike done in late October. Had an immersive experience in the forest, saw a fox, but the forest was strangely quiet. Hiked with a friend and 2 dogs.

It was a chilly day, but we were only in the area for a week over Thanksgiving. Love the outdoors and wanted to see a waterfall. This was gigantic and worth the sight. There is a staircase from the bottom to the top, but we...More

We hiked all the way up to the top of the falls by a path that was difficult at times but doable. It was a cool beautiful sunny day, otherwise I would not suggest going the way we did. We took the stairs going down,...More

One month and the change is visible. It's such a beautiful and peaceful place. Restrauant at the lodge has great and decent priced food! Wherever we are near this area, we will stop.

The drive up to the RV site is a very steep mountain grade but it is a good paved road and I have never seen anybody have any issues with it. Your RV will fit with no problem. The sites are very nice and offer fabulous... More

When you come into the park you can park at the bottom of the falls & hike up. You can't miss it, theres a fishing pond right where the trails begin.
