I think this place is good as focal point for group of friends. There are some nice pub and restaurants in the vicinity. Nice sculptures in the surrounding.

Perfect place to spend a day, afternoon, or weekend! Lots of fun restaurants, bars, and shops! We spent the weekend in town for a wedding at the court house and enjoyed every minute of our 3 day stay!

This is a fun, family-friendly, highly walkable area. There are lots of stores, restaurants, and bars around here. MARTA (the Atlanta-area public transportation system) has a train stop here, as well as bus stops. Some weekends feature festivals on the Square.

With plenty of stores and restaurants surrounding ii. Watch yourself at. Ivette. Travel with a group or Uber to the restaurants as I didn’t get the safe feeling in the area in the late evening.

This is a nice area to stroll around shopping small shops. Lots of nice restaurants and food choices. Especially loved our ice cream at Jeni’s and coffee at Cakes and Ale. Wild Oats and Billy Goats is a great shop! Lots of great shopping.

Decatur Square is an open, central space in Decatur's walking- and family-friendly downtown. Parks, playgrounds, the Decatur Library with its large children's section and a wide variety of food spots are all within walking and/or stroller distance.

I attended the park with my wife and 10 year old son. We had a great time. Downtown Decatur is a jewel nestled in the midst of metro Atlanta. Great, safe, nice shops, and lot of fun.
