I went here to learn how to swim and my exerience was amazing! The water temp was perfect, there was not a lot of people during the times my instruction was scheduled and it was quite comfortable

We wanted to do something different for our 40th wedding anniversary, so we drove all the way over here. We were able to use the restrooms in the aquatic center before we walked. It had been raining the days before, but the beginning of the trail was paved. We had some trouble with some of the trails being under water, but most were relatively dry. We saw deer and great views of the Chattahoochee. We were able to walk 4.5 miles that day. We look forward to coming back in drier times as we only walked half of the park.

This park has many activities planned for children. Every year we take our kids here for Easter Egg hunt. They go above and beyond with music, jump houses, and concessions. There is also an indoor pool where you can take classes. They offer other classes also for adults and children.

The park offers swimming, baseball, and horse back riding. There is a workout facility on the premises too. I run several 5K’s throughout the year on the grounds. There are also really nice walking/hiking trails. You’ll find ample parking

This is a beautiful park for hiking and spending time with family. They even have horse trails and indoor heated pools for year round swimming! Don't forget the playground, ball fields and frisbee golf! If you're lucky, you may see a few deer

Douglas county spent millions on this swimming center and it is very nice if you can swim. Olympic size pool with lanes and a warmup pool that is about 4ft deep. The sad part is with all the money spent there is NO place for toddlers and children that don't swim to play in the water. Other centers I have visited have had a great area for kids including even a lazy river section, waterfalls and other ankle deep fun water attractions. This facility certainly fulfills a need for teen on up swimming location but sorely missed the boat in servicing the county with an everyone friendly pool environment. Too bad Douglas County.

My son plays baseball here. We've also had track meets here. My husband and I come to walk and play disc golf and, once upon a time when my kids were small, we spent time picnicking while the kids played on the playground.
