My partner and I have been living in Atlanta for two years now and love going to visit vineyards in North Georgia. We find it an easy way to get out but still keep safe and socially distant from others (usually). Ott Farms is exactly the type of winery we love to go to! It has a big indoor space—which was completely empty except for the person serving wine at the bar. There was ample room on the outside for everyone there that day to be safe and distant. It overlooks the vineyard, which wasn't in season but still very pretty. And in the distance is a view of the mountains which was really nice. There are circles of adirondack chairs for people to sit in as well as picnic tables and a pagoda where they host live music on the weekends. There is also food available but mostly appetizers and dips. We ordered pimento cheese which was delicious but there are a few options to choose from if you get hungry while sharing a bottle of wine. We ordered a darker, dry wine but I'll say the wine was amazing, but there weren't a lot of options. But the options they do have are very good. I'm sure that any type of wine drinker would be satisfied with whatever they order. The staff was very friendly and there were some German Shepherds living nearby that were keeping everyone entertained as they ran through the vineyard—but never came up to us or disturbed anyone. They kept their distance. Finding the winery was easy and it was signed well. There was plenty of parking for people there. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Blue Ridge, GA area looking for something fun to do on a beautiful afternoon. We will definitely be back at some point.

We started and ended our trip at Ott Farms and Vineyards! We stopped in to burn time prior to check in at our cabin and the wines were so wonderful I had to make a stop before leaving town to stock up. I highly suggest their chamborcin wine for anyone who enjoys a tart wine! The view is fabulous, the wines are delicious and the customer service is outstanding! Keep doing what you’re doing! See ya next time!

The wine and view are just awesome. The staff at the tasting counter were great too! We loved the live music and are definitely planning a trip back in a few weekends.

This review is soley based on first impression and not the wine. Unfortunately we were in the area and decided to stop in, but they were closed. The employee inside was very rude towards my wife and felt we should have known they were closed. First impressions are important for return business, hopefully it was just a bad day. But we met a very friendly women outside who directed us to a very nice winery just down the road (Cartecay) which we purchased several nice wines from. Again, we did not have a chance to sample their wines, but this review is based on our stop today. I'd still recommend if you like wine to stop and decide for yourself. Hopefully your experience will be better then ours.
