I'm not sure how anyone could give this place a bad review. This was our 2nd time there and not only was EVERYONE helpful and friendly but just made it a fun overall experience! I got some eye cream I LOVE and the body mousse is to die for! I love how it feels and how it makes my skin almost glisten! We love this little store and will be back next year!…

We stumbled across this shop several years ago, and have become customers every time we come through town. My favorite soap scent is Flint and Steel; yes, I know it's developed for men, and fortunately, my husband loves it, too, so we always have some in our shower. Laura, the owner/mastermind of the scents, will answer any questions you have without pressuring you into buying. I appreciate that her scents are just that: developed by her and available only through her business. After years of constant exposure to cleaning chemicals, I've become highly sensitive/allergic to (the chemical) methylisothiazolinone, an ingredient in many dishwashing and body/face soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions. The smallest exposure will break me out in oozing, itching wet welts that will last about two weeks. The only thing to settle it down is a steroid shot, which I try to avoid because of long term effects. Laura's products use only natural and mostly locally sourced products, none of which contain methylisothiazolinone. The creams, lotions, sugar scrubs, soaps, bath bombs, colognes, masks, and deodorant are well worth the cost of buying artisan created products. She has also created an excellent bug spray that is completely effective at keeping mosquitoes at bay. A little spritz is all it takes. A couple of months ago Laura opened The Willows, her new day spa. While I haven't yet had the time to use her services, I am intrigued with the offerings and am sure she'll see me sooner than later. Thank you, Laura, for all you do for your community and for those of us who visit. I appreciate the hard work you put into your craft.…
