Bought 2 bags Winesap. Pretty apples. But man told me how he left them on tree so that they were tree ripened. On cutting one,Apples are extremely"mellow"--soft- that would be great for eating if you have no teeth. Tree ripened does not mean mushy apples. Will dump them and not stop there again. These should not have been sold and anyone who grows apples would know it..

The only fried pie I've ever eaten that I actually liked! Apple pieces were still crisp, and the crust was light and flaky. There was more filling than crust, which is the big thing for me. I also bought a couple jars of jam for only $6 each. There was also honey for $6, and I wish I would have bought some (excellent price!)

The apple festival may be canceled due to Covid-19 but many small businesses still need our help!! We took a trip to Ellijay to visit 🍎Aaron’s Family Orchard🍏today and got some delicious apples, apple cider, fresh baked pumpkin rocky road bread, boiled peanuts, and pumpkin butter. Aaron’s Family Orchard has been in business since 1938 and the owner was genuinely happy to help us. We even got to meet the lady that was bringing in FRESH apple pies. Please don’t pass by this smaller business when you’re on the hunt for apples this fall! Remember, bigger isn’t always better. 🍎 🍏 #aaronsfamilyorchards #Ellijay #applehouses #northga #supportsmallbusiness #supportlocal #supportfarmers #supportfamilybusiness

My wife and I like to visit when we are in the area. We always find good food to eat right away or take home, and the service is friendly. Mainly apple-related of course, but they also have peach fritters, variously flavoured ciders, breads, tomatoes, honeys.
