It is a place worth going to. Unfortunately it is for closed periods. I recommend asking open dates to take advantage of visiting it. It is an hour by boat and they give full service that includes transfer and food plus open bar.

I went to Cayo Bolivar with a small group of Brazillian friends and we had a great time there enjoying the breathtaking landscape around the island. The color of the sea is a wonderful light blue and the water is calm and warm..Even the lizards there were blue. :) Cayo Bolivar is one of the most beautiful places I've ever... More

This place is awesome. The only people there were us and a small military outpost with maybe 5 soldiers. The water is crystal clear and the sand is soft and white. I hear there are more people coming, but the only other people I've seen there were a couple of fishermen. We bought a couple of lobsters from them, went... More

Unfortunally the cay is close, they start the promotion and a rush of people that start to visit cause a negative envitorment impact, so the cay is close becouse of that

Unfortunately, the day I went there the number of tourists was huge. As soon as we got there, we ran to lay our towels under the bushes because... More

This was an amazing exclusion. Despite the fact that everyone said the crossing would be rough - it really wasn't that bad. We saw flying fish on the way there. There is very little shade on the island - I recommend you bring something of your own - and lots of sun cream. We took our own snorkels, our tour... More

I don't get the people complaining about bumpy ride, being splashed by water and island being far away. Thats the whole point. You are in the middle of the sea traveling by open speed boat! If you want to stay dry, put the slippers on, stay at the hotel and watch TV. For people who are more adventurous, don't wait,... More
