The observation tower at the end of the nature walk gives you a great view of the area and the visitor center has plenty of entertaining and educational exhibits. They have some kid friendly activities as well.

I drove up from Jacksonville on a rainy Saturday morning, about an hour drive. I turned left off of 121 and made the long drive back to the pay station. The National Parks Pass will get you in, but at about $5 it is still...More

Great folks offering swamp tours. The tours are conducted by locals who share great info about the swamp and the area. Great fun!

I love this place. There is so much to see and do, pack a lunch and have a ball. The wild life is there, birds, gators, snakes, and much more and only $5.00 for a car. This is what makes America great!!

I had no idea what to expect on the swamp tour but was not disappointed. Saw several alligators and turtles. Our tour was late morning and probably would have seen more wildlife at an earlier time when they were feeding. Our guide was wonderful -...More

Took the 90 minute boat ride into the swamp. Good overall perspective of the swamp. It is not what you think of as a typical swamp so was surprised by the features of the Okefenokee Swamp as compared to other "swamps".

A unique, educational and fun place to visit that's offer and serve food. Great personal, friendly and helpful. Food? What you would expect at a family park. I dont believe anyone would go there just to eat. Still, a place I would visit again, soon

Walking is possible, but I agree with the others, it could be very hot and buggy. We saw several alligators along our drive and so you need to be alert to large wildlife. We did almost all of the hikes along the way, so... More

You can rent canoes and kayaks. I would recommend taking the guided motorized tour first, just to get comfortable among all the alligators and the nature interpretation is great, too.
