Water level was said to be flowing well due to all of the rain. 2-3 hour floating trip took about 1.5 hours. The water felt refreshing on this hot July day.

Because it is North of Atlanta and it's waste the water is clean clear and safe to get in. We live in Columbus south.of Atlanta and the bacteria counts are scary and we won't dream of going in. In Helen safe and fun

We spent an entire day tubing the river. The water is crystal clear. The kids and adults had a blast. Beautiful scenery as you float down.

I'm a little late on this review as I visited in April. I found a cool treehouse to stay in at Nacoochee Adventures and this is what brought me to Helen. When I arrived, this river immediately caught my attention. The water was crystal clear....More

I wish I knew. We did not go tubing. I'm sure that that information is readily available in Helen or on the internet.
