Love, love, love!!!!! Not sure what I was expecting but this little place is amazing!! We fed the turtles, geese and fish. Walked around the reptile exhibit but didn't make it to barnyard. Daddy was waiting in the car with the dogs. We left and walked the beginner trail loop. Beautiful trails!! This place was adorable. Well worth the drive.... More

This wildlife center was a big highlight of a recent trip to the region. My wife and I brought our two year old and she loved all the animals. There is a farm, where we saw very vocal cows, pigs and chickens. There were also habitats for other animals such as otters and various birds including bald eagles. Sometimes we... More

Dauset Trails is a unique family experience. There are animals, picnic areas, and hiking trails. It is a small park so it can easily be seen in one afternoon. Enjoy seeing animals native to central Georgia. These animals have been rescued or donated to the park. There is a reptile room with alligators and snakes. It is a great way... More

This place was so fabulous. We are in town as refugees from hurricane Matthew and wanted to take our kids some place fun and educational. We parked in a "natural" parking spot under the canopy of trees. Our two year old has recently become fascinated with cows and Dauset Trails has about 6 or so for him to see up... More

This place is great for kids. You have the zoo, you can feed some of the animals. You also have a educational facility where you can learn about reptiles, see the snakes, alligators and turtles in their natural habitat. There is also bike trails, pic nic areas, a lake and other things to explore.

We live nearby and love going to Dauset Trails periodically. It is a rehabilitation center and I know that a lot of people in the county will take animals there if they are in need of help. The exhibits are mostly in the shade (which is awesome in this 100+ degree weather we've been having!) The farm part is mostly... More

While visiting family in Georgia they suggested we visit Dauset Trails. So glad they did. This place is actually a combination of things. It has a small zoo area with animals native to the area. There are trails with beautiful plants, flowers, feeders for all the birds, and even saw chipmunks running around on the ground. In another area there... More

This was a great place to visit and spend time looking around. Go when you have at least 2 hours to take your time and walk through to see everything. Sure you can go faster, but take some time to read and enjoy the surroundings.

This beautiful park is a favorite with our family. It is very clean, safe, beautiful, and fun for all ages. It has hiking and biking trails and gorgeous views from many sitting places. It also has a great small lake to view ducks and geese. There are also many rescued animals that are from the area that have been rehabilitated... More
