Once you find the trail on the road it is a pretty easy hike to the falls. They are very pretty and a good place to take a picnic lunch.

Had to follow explicit directions to find this place, but it was surely worth it. We were glad that we went during the week, as it would be difficult to get here & back with traffic in both directions. Short hike to the falls, just lovely!

A waitress told us we had to give this waterfall a look and we took her advice. It was the right choice! The drive to the trailhead is truly a treat in itself. The curvy drive around Lake Rabun with unique houses is worth the trip alone. The trail is on the right side of the road signified by stairs.... More

Take Low Gap road to Bear Gap road for about a mile and a half, park on the left, set of steps to your right. Take steps to easy 1/4 mile trail, loved the falls with lots of flat rock for sitting and viewing. Water level was low when we visited so we we're able to sit right next to... More

Minnehaha Falls is well worth the search for it & the short hike to it. It is definitely off-the-beaten-path! There is very little signs showing where it is and very little parking! Walking down the tree rooted path, you find the stream which puts you in mind of a babbling book. The end of the path opens up to a... More

After a pleasant drive around Lake Rabun and a very short hike, you can sit down on a nice flat rock and enjoy the serene (and generally private) setting of Minnehaha. Since its off the beaten path and not in a park, many people shy away from this treasure. Making it all the more enjoyable! Gorgeous fall and an easy,... More

It's one of those places that you can take people who typically wouldn't go on a hike but would love to say they saw a waterfall! Lol! This one is so huge you feel like your cheating it's so easy to get to.
