Beautiful view and quiet setting. Facilities are very nice, though the bathrooms were full of spiders. The slides on the playground are too steep...my 5 year old slid off the end and hurt himself.

When I was a child my parents rented cottages here in the State Park. We had the best of times and memories. Today it is still preferred by many to camp and rent cabins. We love this area on Clark's Hill Lake. (Lake Thurmond)

Very nice park. We have camped here many times. My son & daughter-in-law even got married there. They were married on the beach and had the reception in a large building on the hill above. The bath houses are very nice & clean.

Tie them off to a tree and they aren't going anywhere. We've never had a problem with ours at campground. Even when we are not on a waterfront site it's been fine.
