Lots of restaurants and small shops to browse in. Pleasant to walk around with a bit of traffic but no difficulties.

Post Christmas with décor still up. Model train for kids to climb aboard and ice skating. Cafe's available around the square for lunch. Cute pet supply store and toy store on the square as well.

There isn't really anything to do in the square unless something is going on; there are various fairs & events around Christmas but the square itself is just that: a town square. Its idyllic & shaded and a pretty spot to stop & picnic.

It depends on what time of day you are coming. There is plenty of free 2-hr parking around the square. There is no time limit after 6 pm. After 5 pm and on the weekends, you can park in the parking decks for free. There... More

Stores vary on closure time on Saturday's. Some like Eddys Trick Shop., close at 6. Farmers market last during AM on Saturday mornings and 12-3 PM on Sundays during season . Restaurants open in evening. For Museums, etc... More

The Whitlock Inn is about a block off the square. Pretty nice
