I have never been so poorly treated by the staff of a place where I was paying money to be there, never mind at a state park. Dear Magnolia State Park: If your activities are just for kids, you need to say so in the descriptions rather than letting adults sign up and then just ignoring them until they give... More

A few different hiking paths, lots of turtles- baby alligators too! Had a great time and if the kids had wanted to, there was a splash pad and playground.

This is a pretty small state park with cabins, small camp ground and primitive camping area. I have taken my Boy Scout troop there several times over the past 10 years. The park is beautiful and well cared for. The staff is always very helpful and accommodating. We always stay in the primitive area with our boy scouts and they... More

Our family group stayed in one of the three bedroom cottages right across the street from the lake. We had a beautiful view and the cabin was amazing. Three bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each room, very clean, and even had a TV with Dish and a DVD player. Outside we had a front screened in porch, a bbq... More

I was there for a family reunion. I love the lakes and the nature scenes. I also like the cabins. They were very spacious and the beds were very nice and comfortable. The only thing I do not like is the fact that you pay a lot of money and there is no Wi-Fi. Even though I do not like... More

Our cabin didn't have pictures, linen, pillows, or games. Nor did it have anything to make your visit comfortable. It seems like they forgot plenty of things with this villa and we were left to fend for ourselves to get pillows, sheets and covers. It was so bad that the little kids said they are leaving this villa because it... More

Wonderful place to stop and have a picnic while traveling through... Nice bathrooms and all around nice place to walk the dog and stretch our legs. Plus it has a beautiful spring.

On a recent trip, we needed a nice place to picnic. We just happened upon this lovely spot! It had several shelters with ceiling fans. Go to the shelter in the back for a great view of the Springs and friendly turtles. We saw a couple of gators, so use the bridge for viewing and keep your children and pets... More
