Not feeling well. Stopped and wife inquired about nearby rooms for the night. Gentleman was very helpful and directed us to the nearest motel, Hampton Inn, which was a godsend. They were most helpful.
This welcome center occupies many acres several miles south of Chattanooga. It has a very large building with multiple, clean bathrooms. We were travelling with our daugher and her dog and were very pleased with the large expanse of open area available for dog walking....More

This use to be a great place for visitors and locals to get information around GA. but honestly it has not been open in over a year and it was already suppose to be open in March - its May! I would give it 5...More
The Georgia Visitor Information Center has friendly knowledgable staff to assist you, there are lots of maps for exploring Civil War sites, and hiking as well as many other useful information about local activities to explore.
