This site is absolutely fascinating! We walked the whole grounds and were really astounded by the history. It's amazing what's in your own state that you are unaware of.

This is a great place to visit. The short film was very educational on the history of St. Simons Island. Would highly recommend this.

Definitely for the history lover and for those with a little curiosity. A lot of the original buildings/homes are gone but their foundations still remain. Fascinating architecture and building materials were used.

Nice little remnants of a fort. Wish the building were more. Hope what is left remains for future. If you come use the audio tour with your phone and the qr code spots. Learn a lot and brings the town to life.

Well worth spending the better part of a day. An historic site that should not be missed. Have been there more than once.
