Lots of locals are always fishing off of this, artist playing their musical instruments, people walking and enjoying the ocean breeze. Good relaxing spot.

You really should take a stroll on the pier. There is a regular cast of characters that frequent the pier, fishing and crabbing. Stop and ask them questions because they are fun and interesting to talk with.

We were on the pier at sunset. There were people crabbing and fishing so that was fun too. There is a nice walkway along the waterfront as well.

Nice place to have a fresh nose. Saw pelicans, dolphins, nice old trees, and a beautiful view on the island. What else?

Wonderful views of the beach and water. Once the damage has been corrected - you will be able to use more of the pier/beach areas. Lots of great photo ops.

From the Pier there is a great view of Jekyll Island. It is also a great location to watch the sunset.

We strolled down to Yvette pier after dinner. Very nice. Lots of people fishing off the pier as well as sightseeing. Also some kite flying. You can rent fishing gear if you like. It was fun watching the pelicans. Very nice and relaxing.

Whenever we visit St. Simon's we always make our way out to the pier as you get wonderful views. We don't fish but see many others trying their luck.

Apparently yes, but of the hundreds that fish there, no one does. I have asked at the local fishing tackle store as well and they told me not to bother with one.
