Partially covered pier near the village. Good view of the lighthouse and the shoreline. Straight across the water is Jekyll Island.

Went down at night where the pier was lit and packed with people either fishing and crabbing or people watching. It was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Make sure to walk to the pier when you visit St Simon's. Good view and nearby park and village with all the restaurants and shops is where you'll want to be!

Apparently yes, but of the hundreds that fish there, no one does. I have asked at the local fishing tackle store as well and they told me not to bother with one.

I have only Ben to the St simons pier. I have seen a wide variety of fish caught here, including shrimps, blue crab, small hammerhead sharks, etc. I have also seen a lot of people getting collectively skunked. That said it... More
