This park has it all. Loads of Civil War memorials, loads of hiking and nature trails, and of course the world famous laser and fireworks show.

Re-enact history when you visit this place. A local friend, Elmer brought me here during my stay in Atlanta. It has a cable car to view the whole park. Lots of visitors

Beautiful park with lots to do. Really enjoyed the one mile hike up to the top of Stone Mountain. Would be a great place to bring he kids.

Spent 1 day at Stone Mountain.I can say it's not enough to see-ride all the attractions. The laser show was superbe and i can raccomand to buy terrace seats so you will be able to enjoy it at its best!

Best tip: If you'll be a return visitor, then buy a year-long parking pass, it costs less than parking four times. The park is a wonderful place for hiking, walking, biking, photography, amusements for kids, a tram to the top of the 'mountain' and holiday...More

There are several different things to do at this park including hiking, picnicking, exploring, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery....and these are just the free activities. There are also areas of shopping, a museum, and many more attractions.

the carving was stunning. if you visit call first so you don't waste your money on one attractions . plantation was a waste not mention the lady that works there is rude no manners very dissatisfied.

Many things to do at the park, including rock/wall climbing, kid activities and nature. Hiking trail up and down the mountain which only takes about 15-30 minutes depending if you are going up or down the mountain.

It's not "cold" in October near Atlanta, GA. It's usually in the mid 70s. The leaves may have started to change in early October, but you're more likely to see the real color towards the end. Check the website that predicts... More

Yes, there are spaces for a truck and camper trailer, but they stick to their minimum 2-night rates, I am sure. My suggestion is to call and make an RSVP and if the 2-nite rate is in your budget, go. If you only stay 1... More
