We played the Stonemont course in mid April after several days of rain and found it extremely difficult. It was cart path only and one had to wade through squishy grass, mud, and dirt to get to balls...and, of course, no roll so it took a lot more shots. It is hard to say whether the bad course conditions were... More

We played Lakemont course late April and that's probably too early in the season for both of these courses. Firstly, there is a $15 parking fee to enter the park. But we were told the parking coupon could be redeemed for range balls. We got booked in and headed to the range only to be told rather rudley that the... More

We played the Lakemont course during the Masters week and played an extra $15 for a course that needed a lot of tender loving care. From mud and bare spots on the fairways to dollar spot and poor greens to a worker fertilizing tees and when done did not replace the tee markers, are you kidding me. Being an upscale... More

Worst place I've ever played. The clubhouse doesn't honor coupons, the driving range is a joke, the members are real a-holes who think that for some reason, they are cool when in all honesty, they are punks who should be thrown into river. Mud pit golf course with a crew who ride around all day with no sort of concern... More

This course was in TERRIBLE shape! The greens were beaten up, the fairways were muddy or sandy at best. Regardless of the recent amounts of rain or not, it was almost unplayable. On top of the normal $70 fee, you have to pay $15 for a day use parking. I will NEVER go back.

We did a night stay with an early morning round of golf. The first nine greens on Lakemont were a little rough....the back nine were much better!

I had read some reviews from march saying the course was in great shape... ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! Hard to Imagine I paid 70$ to play this course with my 4 other friends. I couldnt apologize enough to them for my awful choice. The group ahead of us had a player drop out and I heard the proshop mention that they... More

Great clubhouse, grill, and pro shop. Both courses (Stonemont & Lakemont) have great views and the layouts are challenging. Only problem is the fairways have NO GRASS. It's like playing on a bad municipal course. My wife and I played both courses the week before the Masters. When I told Chuck in the pro shop about my concerns he could... More

We played in late March and the conditions were almost unplayable. The course apparently had a lot of rain and does not drain well, because of the underlying rocky makeup. In any case, many of the fairways basically had no grass and were essentially just tight lies of mud. Horrible. The greens were aerated about 10 previously, and had not... More

Would have rated the Lakemont course higher if it hadn't been for conditions of greens. Bald spots and areas needing reseeding. Not all greens cut to same speed on Stimp meter. A true test of shotmaking -narrow fairways and undulating greens. Staff very service oriented.
