We arrived on a Friday for the day. Tour the old mill and hiked around the lake. Great day. Took the short trail of 3 miles. Benches provided every 1/2 mile for rest. Very nice park.

We camped with a group of 9 last weekend and loved it. The campground and the bathhouse were clean. Our site was two sites close together and on the water. Plenty of places to hang a hammock and close to the shorter hiking trail.

Very good State Park. Not crowded - away from traffic and crowds. Beautiful cypress lake. Nice campsites, and very nice cabins. Good outfitter. Enjoy.

Open year-round. South Georgia is much more comfortable to kayak in the Fall and Winter!

Yes - no problem! There are some nice trails that go along the water. Bring your camera as it's quite spectacular.
