It's a fun walk to the top. Lots of stairs and really nothing else. The payoff though is the view from above. Beautiful views of the bay and the ocean make this trip worth every step.

So, the place is super informative. If you like history this is the place for you. I'm a 20 year old and honestly found it super boring. The lighthouse is a bit of a scary climb. The stairs for the up are the same as...More

It's a beautiful lighthouse on well maintained grounds. I did feel it was a little over priced for my family considering that my kids have no desire to walk through the museums and such. We paid alot just to walk the stairs of the lighthouse...More

Ladies, if you're trying to come prepared, don't bother. The no backpack rule extends to cross-body pocket books now as well. This was NOT on the website, by the way. No amount of explanation or demonstration deters this. Access denied.

Is a beautiful lighthouse very tall. Once to the top the view is awesome. While on the beach looking back and watching the light start to come on is a pretty site. Have been several times.

We loved our visit to the lighthouse. Very clean and well kept. My 9 yr old daughter loved the view from the top. Was a great chance to teach her a little maritime history. Would definitely recommend, especially as a little break from the beach.

We did the Sunset Tour and it was really nice. The sunset didn't cooperate like we would have liked it to due to clouds, but the view was still beautiful. Kimmie was our guide and he made sure everyone had a nice time and answered...More

This was one of the bigger lighthouses I have seen. The grounds were kept well and the flowers were pretty. The Lighthouse itself was great to photograph, even though we did not climb it. Gift shop was small, but they had a souvenir penny machine...More
