As there are only a 3 beaches in Georgia, it's certainly one where one would flock to, specially if you livein the loal area. The murky waters, because of the river outlfow, doesn't make it appealing to me.

Get out there just before the sun rises and stroll on the beach. Folks usually arrive at 8am. Check out the famous cafe Breakfast Club but get there before it opens it opens to avoid the queue.
