What a nice museum and historical experience. Start with the movie. I learned a lot on this visit. There is some walking from the museum to the house but they provide scooters for those who need them. It was cold and breezy when we were...More

Definitely a must see! I arrived with expectations of seeing how a family of wealth lived. Was truly caught off guard by the simplistic home and furnishings. The museum was informative and provided a wonderful insight into FDR and Eleanor. After touring, drive into the...More

A visit to this facility is a step back in time. You experience a time that was not surrounded with modern technology and tools. A man that went to the area because of his health and ended up starting many programs to revive the depression....More

I'm a bit of a history nerd, so this site is right up my alley. Beautiful area and a perfectly preserved home. Museum is informational without being overwhelming. Kids enjoyed it too. Even paid attention during the brief movie.

This was a wonderful place to visit and learn about Roosevelt. Everything in the house is pretty much the way it was when he died. I can't wait to bring friends on our next visit.

This is a must see if you are anywhere nearby. There is a large visitor center/museum/gift shop. We opted for the guided tour, but at $20 a person ($10 for the house and $10 for the tour), I’m not sure I would do that again....More

So many original pieces of the house and FDR items! We loved it and were happy we stopped in. The unfinished portrait is on display also. What a well preserved time capsule!

The pools that were heated by the Springs are closed, but you can visit them. The actual Springs no longer are visible at the pools but are still there in the area.
