We stubbled upon this place heading back to Atlanta. A lot of history to take in. They have done some serious upgrades to the area. Very nice hiking/walking paths. Worth a look.

Huge with tons of info and absolutely gorgeous. Before you hit the hilltop there's a road you can go down with unmarked graves from an old church and possibly the battle.

Last time we visited the site was run down and looked as though no one was taking care of it. There was scattered trash and to be a historic site I figured it would be taken care of.
