I enjoy the park and its nice for a stroll. I personally would never swim in this water because it looks and smells horrible. I would also never stroll around this place late at night because it has unique people hanging around.

It's a neat pond/lake in the city. Great for swimming in the summer with a couple rope swings here and there. However if you go, you'll be surrounded by 16-17 year olds doing the same thing. Free parking and dogs are welcome!

My friend and I love to swim. There are multiple places to swim along the river, but Veteran's Memorial has always been our go-to.

We love to visit this park and wonder through the pathways. The memorial brick walkway is very interesting. Most of the bricks have Veterans of all wars with their information on the bricks. Lovely area to have a picnic too!

As a photographer I look for the unusual to photograph, the scenes, the trees, water etc. Veteran's memorial Park and trails are just that. Different every-time I walk the trails.
