We see this beautiful bridge everytime we travel Capitol Blvd. in Boise. Take time to think about all those early pioneers that traveled the Oregon Trail. They are the reason we have a beautiful Treasure Valley.

The Oregon Trail Memorial bridge is one of the easiest attractions to get to in Boise from downtown. It is located near the Julia Davis park; Library, Ann Frank memorial, Boise Zoo, Idaho Black History Museum, Boise Art museum and of course the Boise river. Just a nice little bridge with historical marker for a good photo op – worth a stop to check it out on a walking tour of the city.

As far as bridges go, this one is neater than most. Honestly I don't critique bridges enough. Lots of people walk on it though.

This scenic bridge crosses the Boise, River. Built in 1931, there are plaques and mosaics on the columns. You can see the river, the Capitol and Boise Depot from one spot! Really pretty and just a short walk. Ann Frank Memorial, Library and The Cabin are close by as well as BSU and Downtown.
