Zoo Boise seems to be very active in wildlife conservation activities and is updating its exhibits from the older, charming-but-outdated enclosures. The giraffe and penguin encounters were great fun. This is a wonderful zoo to enjoy with children because it's adjacent to a huge park,...More

Once you accept the fact that you will be viewing captive animals in cages outside of their native habitats (which can be a bit depressing), you may find this zoo to be a pleasant place to spend an afternoon. It's fairly small--which makes it quite...More

It's a small zoo, which, yeah, kind of sad the animals live that way, but for Boise, it is a great place to spend the afternoon with children.

The Zoo Boise is very small, but enjoyable. We had a good time viewing the animals as well as learning some new information. An enjoyable experience - will visit again in the summer.

The Boise Zoo isn't a large zoo but it is charming. There are animals from all over. Zebras, giraffes, Monkeys.. would be great if it was expanded and more exotic animals added but for our climate, I think the Boise zoo does pretty well.

Zoo Boise tries very hard to do a good job, but Boise is not easily able to support a zoo and its expenses.

We went on a Thursday, which is discount day. So we paid $13 for 4 of us! Awesome deal!!! Most zoos charge that much per person. It's not a huge zoo, we walked through it in 2 hours. We really enjoyed our time! Really liked...More

The Boise zoo is small and has very few North American animals. (No wolves, bears, etc.) There are approximately two of most common zoo animals and a small, petting zoo of farm animals. Would recommend for families with small children as the zoo is highly...More
