The Zoo Boise is very small, but enjoyable. We had a good time viewing the animals as well as learning some new information. An enjoyable experience - will visit again in the summer.

The Boise Zoo isn't a large zoo but it is charming. There are animals from all over. Zebras, giraffes, Monkeys.. would be great if it was expanded and more exotic animals added but for our climate, I think the Boise zoo does pretty well.

Zoo Boise tries very hard to do a good job, but Boise is not easily able to support a zoo and its expenses.

This small zoo offers a cute petting area for young children, as well as many animal statues which encourage photos and climbing opportunities for children. The long slide fitted into a giraffe statue is quite ingenious. It is in need of a huge upgrade, and...More

Visiting from the Zoo community I visit Zoos with an understanding yet a critical eye. Zoo Boise is small and a little outdated with certain exhibits but what zoo doesn't have outdated exhibits. We visited late in the day on the day the Zoo was...More

We have visited here five times now and it still provides hours of enjoyment. It is not on the scale of San Diego Zoo (4 visits) but does have a good range of animals and is well set out. They are heavilly involved in conservation...More
