was having a great walk around the pond in the hill. The peace and quit was ruined by several teens who where hiding in the bush smoking pot. They scared all the birds away and brought my birding to and end. But still a great place, going back again today.

The interpretive trail is so wonderful and peaceful, it's hard to believe it's literally minutes from downtown Boise. I've hike this trail and never run into a single person. Signs along the way are both educational and inspirational. In the spring, the creek is flowing, birds are singing, and the foothills are in full bloom. So many native and non-native... More

One of many wonderful natural places to exercise. The foothills trail system is fabulous and well used. If you are visiting from out of town this is a place you may want to experience. Every season has something different to offer: vernal run-off in spring, lovely wildflowers, single track as well as some dirt roads, mountain biking is unparalleled in... More

My friend took me for a walk up to Hulls Gulch. I didn't know what to expect but, I loved it. The views are amazing. There isn't any incline that is too difficult. You can run or walk

Great place to hike and take a bike ride. Lots of neat trails branch off this. With the Ridge to Rivers bike trail system it is a super place to bike.

What a special place! I took a walk along the trail and although I met others along the way, I always felt like I was alone exploring the beautiful hills and blooms. This is great for bikers and hikers; the trail markers tell you which are shared and which are for walkers only. There are nice interpretive signs along the... More

I have walked this area for almost 40 years, it's just peaceful and enjoyable for me, up the road, park and walk higher and higher up the different little paths. You can bicycle here and there as well with your mountain bike if you wish. Spring time and mornings are my favorite times as it get's hot during the summer... More

If you're new to the area, this will be a fun bike ride or walking path. It's part of a huge foothill network of hiking paths.

Hulls;s is a great trail- there is shade, it follows a stream with running water in the spring, it's a relatively mellow bike ride both up and down, and it links into a lot of Boise's other great trails. I usually use it to access some higher trails, or use ot to descend out of the Foothills. Only drawback is... More
