Description:

Williamson Orchards and Vineyards is located along the Sunnyslope Wine...

Williamson Orchards and Vineyards is located along the Sunnyslope Wine Trail within the Snake River Valley AVA. The Williamson family has been growing fruit here for four generations. By relying on our long-history and knowledge of the region we designed our vineyard to maximize the terroir of our high dessert location with the goal of producing stunning wines from high quality grapes. A great deal of time and thought went into the planting of our vines. From vineyard layout to the selection of grape varieties we wanted to ensure that our site would produce superior grapes. Our forethought, planning and hard work has paid off. Our wines have won countless awards and are recognized across the region for quality. We now have over 50 acres in vineyards, 8 varieties and 14 award winning wines. Visit our tasting room to experience some of the great wine being produced in Idaho. Expect a welcoming atmosphere steeped in old-fashioned, farm-charm along with honest and knowledgeable service.

If you like wine AND antiques, be sure to stop here. Wine is pretty good, and the walls are decorated with orchard agriculture tools from the early 20th and late 19th centuries. Beautiful quilts also hang on the walls. No picnic place yet, but it appears like they may be planning one.

I remember going to Williamson Orchard to get fresh fruit when I was kid. Now they're making great wines for me as an adult. We enjoyed friendly conversation and great wine to taste along with it. I'll be getting a group of friends together real soon to head back. The new tasting room is really nice and maintains the charm... More

I went to the grand opening of the new tasting room for Williamson and had a great time. I will greatly miss the barn, but the new room is much larger and will accommodate a lot more people. I do like that it is right next to the road now, making it a smidgen easier to find. I love the... More

The new Williamson Vineyard Tasting room was friendly, informative about their wines and about the area and they have great tasting wines. The tasting room is open Wednesday through Sunday 12:00 to 5:00 pm.

I can't wait for the new tasting room to be open - and it is happening soon! The people at Williamson's give you a taste of wine and a feeling of family. The history here alone is worth the visit, but the wine-oh my, it is lovely. I belong to their wine club and I opted to pick up my... More

We enjoyed our visit to this winery. My brother and his wife were visiting from the Bay Area, California, so they are accustomed to the wineries in California. They were surprised how many wineries were in the area, so we took a tour of some of them. They were impressed with this one and enjoyed the red wine selections from... More

My husband and I arrived at this small tasting room and proceeded sampling our first selection and was having a delightful conversation with our server when a group of 14 arrived and squeezed into a very small space. They had obviously been making the rounds to all the wineries--they were a little to loud and a little to pushy. I... More

This tasting room may be small, but the quality of their wine makes it a must visit attraction. I have heard they are planning on expanding in 2016, but even if they don't I will be coming back often. We have visited her several times so when we heard they had a bogo case offer in December we just had... More

I've been coming to Williamson's Orchards for over 15 years. Highly recommend the Honey Crisp Apples which are fantastic. The have darn decent, award winning wines as well. Worth being a member of the wine club just for the tastings alone!
