The St. Joe River is one of the most beautiful in all of the Pacific Northwest. It is off the beaten trail a ways so it is a double blessing that you can enjoy a day fishing or rafting or just hanging out or collecting river rocks in relative privacy! You definitely need to float the Joe!!

How do you rate a river. The St. Joe is pretty, good for boating, and is pleasant to walk by. The water smells fresh. The view is fine. Where we were was clean and was not littered. A nice visit was had by both of us.

I have been going up the Joe for 30+ years and love it. Great fishing, tubing, 4 wheeling, hiking, or just relaxing.

This Lake/St.Joe river tour is a must. Lunch is included, and it is on Sunday only. Take's 6 hours, and takes you all the way across the Lake to St. Joe River half way up. It is a nature's experience and very interesting.

Beautiful country side with a brilliant river...the "JOE". If you like the outdoors and love to fish great place to stay. I am an avid fly fisherman and the JOE has always been one of my favorite places to fish for native cutthroat trout (been fishing here for over 45 years). Clear cool water make this a must for fly... From the heart of the Bitterroots to Coeur d'Alene, one of the prettiest rivers I've ever seen. Lots of riverside RV spots from Adair to Calder. Looks like good fishing too.

This beautiful river is raging and cold in the spring and early summer, but great for "lazy river" floating during the last two weeks of July and all of August.

It was a hot day in Spokane and we needed to get away. Traveled down to the St. Joe and it took our breath away. Gorgeous scenery, meandering river views and nice ice cream and a place to get your feet wet in Avery.

The St Joe River is one of the major waterways in North Idaho that affords everyone an excellent destination for getting away from it all. Along its miles of broad banks you'll find camping and picnicking spots to suit everyone and in the warmer months the river is a popular venue for water craft of almost every description. This is...
