We utilized bikes from McFarland B & B headed to McEuen Park connected to the Centennial trail & followed all along Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive all the way to Higgins boat launch. About 30 km round trip for us. Awesome

I accessed this trail from the front of the Coeur d 'Alene resort. Followed it for a good 2 1/2 beautiful miles along the lake then river with no real crowds at all. Well paved and clean. Very easy running trail. Lots of bicycles and people walking dogs. Parts of the trail are easy to venture off of if you... More

The beautiful shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene is amazing. This trail allows one to enjoy the public owned space all year with spectacular views of ospreys, eagles and heron. Amazing!

This trail was partly on the roads and partly on a wide paved trail. We parked out of town at Riverstone Park, rode into town and then out the other side until we hit a long hill. That's where we turned around. We were riding on a weekday so it wasn't very busy. The miles we rode we quite flat... More

This is a fabulous trail for walking, biking or running. The views are beautiful but different all over. I love the stretch on Coeur d' Alene Lake Dr because it's all along the lake. We've seen deer, geese and Eagles. I do have to give a word of caution to the walkers and runners. Watch out for the bicycles. The... More

I use this trail daily, mostly walking, but occasionally by bike. It's well maintained (even in winter) and roomy enough for all modes of use (if those on the path are mindful of their own space). I do have to say that many dog owners don't bother to leash their dogs. As a dog owner myself, I find this incredibly... More

Perfect Trail for walking or biking, this runs for some distance right through the enter of town and past two large parks. You can detour off the trail to do a hike around Tubbs Hill.

Although Coeur d'Alene has been the site of tri-athelons, the Centennial Trail was built for the amateur biker. Throughout all but the winter season, it creates an activity which spans to the downtown Spokane Washington area. It follows the Spokane River in many areas and can be especially refreshing during warm summer evenings.

The centennial is a great adventure for families. It is what ever you want to make it a long time or short time. Walking, biking, scooters, or rollerblades. Just a great time
