7 miles of Sand

Nice sandy beach with huts to shelter from Sun if too hot, most belong to the hotels though If your a shell collector then bring a bag.

Nice beach. If you're in Venice for a few days and want to relax, it's worth a visit. Not the best beach in the world but it was nice!!

pestered by street sellers, some very persistent and extremely annoying who even when saying no thank you would continue trying to sell their wares or get you to feel the said goods, very much in your body space which was unpleasant

Lido beach is a small beach we went at the beginning of May so they was still doing a lot of work in preparation for the summer. It wasn't a beach to relax on loads of rubbish but I'm sure this will be all cleaned in time. The sea breeze help to keep the area nice and cool.

We stayed at a Hotel just on Lido Beach. On first appearances the beach looks dirty and secluded, may be we came in the wrong season. But looking at it I think work is being done to the area to get more tourists it. You definitely cant Sun Bath on it.

That's a wide and long beach, a bit similar to California's Long Beach. I was there mamy times, this time in May, so out of season. Everything was closed, but that's normal. Nevertheless, it was nice to spend some time there. During the season it is really crowded and becomes a typical beach. Lido+its beach=quality time.

Lovely clean beach with a rocky pier to walk down into the sea.Lovely views all around and seems to be a sunny spot! A lovely place to spend a few hours just sitting and relaxing by the sea.

BIG sandy beach, many people ... or sooooo many many people :/ . Full Toilettes, full showers ... not bad, but not good :) The water is not very clear.

One minute in Venice next minute you are on the beach , if you fancy a break for the busy centre of Venice come here first thing and leave the shopper till later on in the day if the weather is good this is a great place to stop and some of the hotels in Venice have sister hotels here... More
