Our visit was exceptional. The weather was GREAT, the ocean amazing and the company fantastic. Wonderful Italian culture and we found all of the local people to be helpful and enthusiastic about us being there. This is a beautiful place to travel to and we will go again some day.

We had a surprising good lunch at this little bar. We were fortunately wandering the beach and decided to stop here for a drink but the smell of the food was too much for us and we ordered lunch. The lunch was good but a I dare say sitting in the warm February sun on the beach helped.

A first visit to Lido di Venezia and was surprised at how good the beach area turned out to be and could imagine what it would be like in the summer. A first visit to Venice-Lido and was surprised at how good the beach area turned out to be and could imagine what it would be like in the summer. A great place to take respite from the bustle of Venice.

We took a stroll down to the beach. Only a couple of other people there. Very peaceful and calming. Sure its not like this in summer. We entered the beach right by a food outlet which was closed because of the season. Next to the outlet was rows of beach huts, hundreds. I can imagine this being a popular destination... More

The Lido beach area is excellent as a contrast to the 'city' environment of the centre of Venice. Our recent stay was in winter, but on a sunny day it is a great place for a walk. In summer it is also good for bathing.

Long sandy beach and within 30 minutes you can be in the centre of Venice, Lido is the best place to stay as far as we are concerned both for the lovely beach walks and the town feel of the Lido

We spent an hour walking and sitting on the beach in mid-November. There were quite a few people in the sea, which appeared to be an extremely safe place for children to play. The sand is lovely and soft, and one or two bar/restaurants were still open. A breath of fresh air after a couple of days roaming Venice itself.

Lido di Jesolo are miles long beaches of the city of Jesolo, which mostly lives off tourism. Located in the northeast of Italy, near Venice, with access to the Adriatic Sea. Kilometers of beaches and night entertainment attract thousands of tourists every summer. Fully focused on tourism, Lido di Jesolo is very different from other Italian cities. His actions and... Lido beach for the most part of what we saw was privatised, and entry was only through certain restaurants n bars that owned it. A little way ahead was a free patch where everyone was allowed. Beach seemed clean with paid toilets. Water was very cold, being December. But having a bar/restaurant nearby helps.
