The Japanese gardens were a great place for rest and reflection. Very well done with Asian inspired plants and benches.

We stumbled upon this while strolling the river walk to downtown. There were few people there that morning. In fact, we saw only two other couples during our visit. But the garden is well maintained, and very peaceful despite the location.

The design of the garden and pavilion was well designed creating a feeling of balance and peace. There were numerous locations around the Parker where one could sit and listen and watch

This didn't feel overly Japanese to me, having lived in Japan for a couple of years, but it was a very peaceful park and an enjoyable place to unwind. Lots of benches and areas to sit.

We got a sandwich and stopped here and had our lunch. Very unique garden. The sister city to Idaho Falls is in Japan and this garden etc is dedicated on that friendship. You probably would spend less than 30 minutes here.

Don't miss this charming side trail off of the river walk. It is a great use of the space and will become even more beautiful as time passes and the plants get bigger. Good job Idaho Falls!

My husband (who uses a wheelchair) and I visited the Japanese Pavilion one afternoon in June. It was our first visit to Idaho Falls and one of our first stops. What a lovely and peaceful area. The flowers, trees and rock displays are all nicely...More
