I haven't been here for over 10 years, and really enjoyed a morning visit this summer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They've done a nice job with the exhibits and the animals seemed well cared for. Very exciting to see my first red panda.

I make this trip once a year with my young son. It is a nice zoo for the size of the town and the geographical location. Monkeys, lion, camels, penguins, etc.

This is a great zoo for Idaho. It's just the right size for the town and they have some cool animals and displays. We love going here.

The Idaho Falls Zoo is a good place for children as well as adults to visit. We go about 1 time a year and enjoy the birds, and animals. They have made improvements over the years and we always enjoy.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the zoo at Tautphaus Park. It is a beautiful little zoo nestled in the trees. You can get up close to the animals. It is very clean and well taken care of. The animals seem to be housed in very clean and comfortable areas. There is a nice place to picnic and a nice... More

For a small town, this is a very nice zoo with quite a few animals. I attended an evening event but most of the animals were still out.

New look. New animals. New exhibits. Same experience. The Idaho falls zoo is loved by my children but even with improvements done to the environment in the last 6 years, I find myself bored and wondering where the crocodiles are and why the camels look like they are dying every year.

We were on our way to Grand Teton NP and wanted to break up our drive from Salt Lake City. Spent the night here and arrived too early in the day to check into our hotel, so we decided to visit the zoo. One thing that would be good for people not from the area is to have better signage... More

Relatively small but good for short entertainment & or educational outings. Entry fees are reasonable, has a nice layout with a good variety of exhibits, plenty of shade & seems well maintained. Has all basic amenities - karts to tow kids around in, vending machines, outdoor food stand, gift shop, etc.. Plus there are some small carnival rides in the... More
