I've never been when the animals aren't active. Always better yo see them up & around in their habitat. Kids are so much more exited remember things they were doing. A great selection of animals too.

This zoo is a great oasis in Idaho Falls, a great place to let the grandkids run. Small enough that they can see the animals multiple times and aren't worn out too much by the end of the day.

Best advise is to go in the morning or evening when it's cooler and the animals are mote active. The petting zoo is great for little ones.
