The zoo in Idaho Falls is the largest in the state and it is a great gem in this small town. The entrance fee is quite reasonable and we spent a lovely afternoon there seeing the animals.

Very small but well kept and fun! You will probably only spend a couple of hours max walking through the entire zoo but your time will be well spent. For people with disabilities and the elderly there are plenty of benches throughout but a few...More

This is a really nice zoo! It's great to have a easily accessible place to basically have the world at your feet. It doesn't cost much, it is delightful with beautiful plants and trees, and the staff has been very helpful each time we go....More

I've never been when the animals aren't active. Always better yo see them up & around in their habitat. Kids are so much more exited remember things they were doing. A great selection of animals too.

Several renovations have been made since we last visited, improving the quality for both visitors and animals. This zoo has made great advances since its early days of steel and concrete cages. I always bring a camera and try to visit at least 3-4 times...More

I found Tautphaus Park without much trouble, but finding the zoo inside the park was quite a challenge. I could not find a sign for the zoo until I asked several people about it. Then I found a small sign attached to a fence. It...More
