Two hours was perfect for our visit. Much of the zoo had shade from all the trees. The animal information signs were great. Our children ages 16 down to 3 all enjoyed it.

It's really nothing to write home about. I'm not a big fan of zoos as it is, but admit it's about the only way we or our kids will ever get to see certain animals. That said, however, I've been to a lot better zoos...More

Tautphaus Park Zoo is a family tradition and one that is best shared with small children. So many great exhibits for a small zoo like this is amazing. One outstanding experience was being present for the penguin feeding and getting a chance to interact wither...More

Fun for family and kids. There was a baby lion. Been here a few times. Not Hogle Zoo by any means but it's nice to get out of the house. Sometimes there is a car show or event in front in the park.

A very pleasant little zoo. Except for a tiger (who was in an enclosure much too small for him), all of the animals were appropriate. Lots of young families here introducing their children to animals. Very. Clean and easy to see all the exhibits.

A nice relaxing day after spending three days in Yellowstone and another day in the Grand Tetons. There was a great diversity of animals from around the world. My favorite exhibit was listening to the caretaker of the Penquins.

This zoo in Tautphus Park participates in several well-managed responsible breeding programs. They have a surprising number of penguins, for example. Those with enough branches on their family tree will go on to breeding programs at other zoos. The ones without enough genetic diversity become...More
