Perfect for Kayaks, Not Great on Rafts

I wish I could give two different reviews for Mack's - we were traveling with a very large group, so we tried pretty much every kind of craft Mack's offers. Those on kayaks and paddleboards had a really wonderful time - the setting is beautiful and the trip was so fun. For those on the big rafts, however, it turned... More

The four of us boarded a raft and proceeded 4 miles up river. The trip down took about 3 hours. We saw 7 moose on the way down the river.

My wife and I rented a tandem kayak and floated almost three hours on the most scenic water. Plus we saw four moose, eagles and ospreys . The best value in Greater Yellowstone recreation .

These guys don't know what the crap they are doing. It's not that hard to get an online reservation system. That would save you and all your customers the headache.

This was the highlight of our trip! The staff was kind and patient. Many people all want to go at once, and you have to wait your turn. The boys who shuttled us were kind and friendly. The scenery was absolutely beautiful! I thought I might be a little scared since I have never rode a kayak by myself, but... More

Bring your own tubes or rafts. You will have a much better time. You will not have to encounter the people here.

This was a great adventure for just about anyone young or old. Saw a mamma moose with twin calves too for an added bonus. The float is on the lazy Henry's fork river. It's a great time don't pass this one up.

We do this float as a family every year we go home to Idaho for family vacation! It started when I was a kid with my grandparents in the '80s. Easy, relaxing float on a beautiful, scenic river where it's not uncommon to see bald eagles, deer, and on rare occasion a moose! Good for almost all ages (4 -... More
