We saw this recommended on Trip Advisor and AAA and decided to make a special trip out of our way to see it. It was definitely worth it. We had two "guides" who each did part of the "trip" explaining how the pioneers would have...More

We enjoyed the interactive history lesson but were really most impressed by the dedication of the staff, volunteers and community at large. It is clear that this museum is a labor love. One suggestion: offer as another enriching option (not everyone will make the time,...More

Dear gil014, Thanks for your kind words! I am passing this along to the staff that were working the day you visited. Our wagon master does his historical research for sure. Please know that if your regrets about the ball cap keep bugging you, we...More

The center is very well organized. The staff is very friendly. They are in full character and provide a lot of history around the trip from Missouri to Oregon. The simulated trail ride was interesting. They provided a narration as we rode 1100 Miles. The...More

A simulated wagon train experience of the 1850's....."visit" a gun shop & mercantile, "ride" a covered wagon, and then "spend an evening around the encircled wagon train". This was followed by a great lunch in "covered wagons". There is a also a wonderful art gallery...More
