It was on a visit to the arboretun that we decided to plant scarlet oak trees for each of our grandchildren. We now have 4 scarlet oak trees in the front of drive.

My favorite part of Moscow. It is located on campus next to the golf course. It is absolutely beautiful! Me n my sister had delightful walk through the arboretum and botanical gardens. Be prepared for a few hills as you meander the pathways lined with trees and shrubs from all over, each carefully labeled. On the other side of the... More

A walk through the Arboretum was recommended to my wife and I by the owners of the Wylie Lauder House, a B&B within walking distance of UI. It was a great walk, with many trees and flowering plants to admire and take shade under. It was much bigger and better than we anticipated ... well-done to UI and the volunteers... More

Very nice paths through flora from around the world. Some of the areas needed a little upkeep when we visited.

This is a very peaceful place here in Moscow. ( no dogs are allowed.) It is extremely well maintained with beautiful plants and trees. We spotted a bunny among the quiet. While we were there, a few runners and walkers came buy since it is right next to campus it's a great place to add to your workout. It is... More

Great loop for walking or jogging. Great scenery all year long. I feel safe here. Always clean. Also good for picnics with the kiddos.

We wanted to do some hiking today but decided to try the arboretum instead of driving to more distant trailheads. This was a beautiful place. Ended up spending a few hours here and got some exercise as well. Close to our hotel in Moscow, on the campus. Many trees, some very unusual, plants, flowers, most with identification plates to tell... More
