My wife is a lifelong fan of the Appaloosa breed. The Museum and Heritage Center is a must-visit every time we are in the Moscow-Pullman area. While it occupies a fairly small footprint, it is packed with fascinating displays and artifacts.

Sign is hard to see from road. The "live exhibit" was closed. We drove over 300 miles to come. Wasn't as great as the website showed it to be.

Very informative, interesting Museum. Has many facts about the Nez Pierce Tribe and the Horses they raised. Unfortunately, they don't display the Horses until April

We have had to visit the museum often because two granddaughters love horses. I like the history of the Palouse offerings.

You will enjoy it if you are interested in horses. The entrance fee is a "donation" and quite reasonable. Plenty of displays about appaloosas along with a video presentation.

This is a small museum, but well displayed. It has many artifacts that pertain to horses. It also has information about Native Americans. The video is very informative and educational. Staff was friendly.
