This awesome beach is so quiet, occasionally spoilt by the cruise liner invasion - but generally very quiet. There are rocks, but they are flat and easy to get over. And there is plenty of gaps to wade through.

We stayed at the north end of Lower Bay Beach for 2 weeks in early December. We walked to/from Port Elizabeth at least a dozen times. It is a lovely walk along the beach ... no need to climb up high to the main road... More
